I haven’t played Mortal Kombat since I was in junior high school, but apparently there’s a new version out. Suffice it to say, the “FINISH HIM” cut scenes have evolved a bit. Heavens.

Pretty tough to beat the old “rip a man’s heart out of his chest, then rip off his head and stuff it in the hole where the heart you just pulled out used to be” trick.

So, so true. Of course, the larger problem was that I could never remember the intricate button combos that induced the Fatality moves, so I’d just press a crapload of buttons when the time came, hoping that I’d strike gold.
